Over the weekend I realized something was missing while working on the PowerBook’s Terminal application. I was suddenly missing syntax/text coloring that was previously working. I have not touched my installation other than adding a few “alias” to my .bash_profile.

I have posted a call for help on the OS X Hints website. Due to the lack of activity with that thread, I also posted a message on Mac Rumors' Panther discussion forums. I would greatly appreciate any help at this point.
