A couple of updates

It was not too long ago when I mentioned the lack of time to dedicate to my site, well I am happy to report that one of those time-consuming tasks has come to an end. I took the final exam for my last class in order to graduate. Summer time will be spent on my final project and official graduation awaits at the end of the summer! It feels good to be done with the course load after two years.

preview.gif I have also been working on a project I hinted about in the past and although those color preferences have changed here is a little peak at the current state of things. I hope to make a full release in the very near future and hopefully it will be something all of you will like.

From a technical point of view, I decided to use a personal framework that I came across the web. The project is quite simple so I thought a simple framework would be sufficient. However, as I continue with the development, I have found some aspects could not be met by the framework as-is and some changes were needed. I am still moving forward with this approach but I am also looking at more established projects such as cake or symfony for future projects.

update: the secret is out! We have released our wedding website, check it out and be part of the celebration.

Check those out…may find one you like or one that fits your project needs.

  2. Thanks for the link. A few opinions have come out lately, including this one, which reviews several PHP frameworks and worth reading if you are still working in PHP

  3. I know what the project is… ;)

  4. sshhhh, you can’t say anything, although I am sure you know what the project is. After all, I am sure nobody knows nor expects what I am working on. It’s not like we are working on a big event or anything ;o)

  5. hahahaha….now that’s a funny conversation.
