13Feb06 The celebration is in the books

The celebration is in the books and the photos are online so you can check them out. I think everyone had a great time and the food and the margaritas were a hit! Thanks to everyone that came out and specially my appreciation and thanks to Sarah who made this whole thing happen. It was a great way to celebrate the day.
On a side note, we had a game at 8:00am on Sunday morning, the whole night I kept saying I was going to make the game and I even promised my neighbor Graham that I was going to score a goal. The promise was made because I had missed a clear opportunity during the previous game and the margaritas got the best of me. I got a call from Victor on Sunday morning and I told him that I was on my way. I got out of bed, changed, grabbed my gear and left the house. Three blocks later I am sitting at a red light waiting to turn when all of the sudden I am not feeling too well. I knew this was a bad decision so I made a u-turn at the next street and went back home.
I joined the world once again a few hours later and needless to say it was a slow Sunday spent at home.

It was a great try, I was out of the house and even driving myself to the game but with age also comes wisdom and that’s why I turned around.

With age comes wisdom and a weaker stomache…haha. I am kidding, I doubt I would have made it either if I was in your shoes judging on the amount of alcohol you had there. Glad to hear you guys had a good time though.
