7Jul05 My condolences to the people of London
Living on the west coast of the US, we woke up to the news from the London bomb explosions. My cousin and her husband live in London so I was worried about their well being, since I was not sure of the details of the situation. As I came to work, I found out that they were doing just fine and I was even able to chat with her for just a few minutes.
I’ve been following the radio coverage and an occasional check to the the Wikipedia News page for any updated information. I simply cannot understand the thinking behind the people responsible for these acts. I find the lack of respect for someone else’s life simply incomprehensible. My condolences to the people of London and may God give us all the strength to overcome these horrible events.
There have been three confirmed explosions in London Underground trains and stations and a further one onboard a bus.
