I guess it depends on what you are after. Of course, you can always check out the Apple store if you would like to buy directly from them. I bought mine through the online store setup for ASU in order to qualify for the education discount. You could also look at the refurb section of the Apple store, they give you the same warranty as their brand-new stuff so I would not worry about being defective systems.

Aside the Apple store, a good place would be &lt;a href=&quot;http://phoenix.craigslist.org/sys/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Craig&#039;s list&lt;/a&gt;. The link is for the computer section here in Phoenix. If you see something you like let me know and I can always get it for you and ship it. Given the Intel announcement, if I was looking to buy an Apple laptop I would probably look into an iBook at this time. Specially if you already have a decent desktop machine, an iBook would be a great introduction to OS X.
