Why are you hiding?

I do it as well, although I am trying to do it less and less on sites that I visit. So, to you the reader, drop a line once in a while :o)

Raw fish for dinner.

Last night Sarah and I had a great dinner at RA. We had been talking about it for a while and in our efforts to live a more “sophisticated” lifestyle, we thought we would give Sushi a shot.

We arrived just before Happy Hour ended and that helped things alot. A good glass of wine for Sarah, an ice cold Asahi for me and we were in our way to our first Sushi experince here in AZ. We are not experts in the field, so we went with some of the classic stutff and at least we know were to get started next time.

We ordered the always-a-safe-call California rolls, some Philadelphia (salmon, cream cheese and cucumber) rolls and some shrimp tempura rolls. We also ordered an entree since we thought the fish was not going to be enough. We found the rolls to be really good and quite filling as well so next time we’ll do away with ordering the entree.

Just a couple projects.

This is an entry that I have been waiting a few months to publish but somehow I always manage to either forget about it not I find it not interesting enough — like the rest of the stuff I post here, I know ;o) — so here it is.

One of the things that I enjoy the most about what I do are “on the side”projects. These are little projects that I take on during the year, not to pay the monthly bills, but to continue to learn and pass that same knowledge to my “clients”.

Fotos de Navidad

Navidad 2003

Fiesta Crazyness!!

This is the second year that I get to “experience” the Fiesta Bowl. Remember that our office sits over the main street in Tempe so anytime that downtown is hosting some sort of event, we try to leave as soon as we can to avoid the traffic mess.

Today was not the exception, I left a bit early to avoid the Fiest Bowl crazyness since fans started to fill the streets very very early this morning. Last year, Tempe was a red sea, thanks to Ohio State fans. However, this year, Tempe has a nice purple glow courtesy of the KS Wildcats. I just heard on the news that KSU fans might outnumber OSU fans as much as 5 to 1. We might not be crowning a champion tonight but it will be a great party downtown Tempe later tonight.

Check out some photos I took before leaving this afternoon. The game is about to start so I am off to the living room to get a good seat ;o)
