You ever had a day when it feels like the whole world just ran by you like a train does? yeah, me neither ;o) Today was a bit crazy, not in a bad way, just one of those days. A phone call here and little bug there and it sort of accumulates after a few hours.

On my way from the office to my car, all I could think about was getting home, open a beer and sit in the back patio just for the heck of it. More or less to decompress from what it seems to be the longest week ever. Of course, I knew that before getting anywhere close to the refrigerator, I was going to have to deal with rush-hour traffic. Given the fact that I stayed late I was quite optimistic about this evenings commute and it funny how God works.

This time of the year we are lucky enough to have some amazing sunsets. Usually I am almost home by the time the sun is going under the horizon so I either catch while on the road with little traffic or I happen to be at home. Tonight, as I was leaving the area where I work, I was treated to the most amazing sky I had seen in a long time — or maybe it was my need to relax after a long day that made it even more beautiful.

I was just thinking how funny God works, after checking out the orange and pink tones in the sky through my window and rear view mirror, I was ready to take on the traffic rush and I could careless weather I had the beer at home or not. I guess we just need to take a quick glance to the beauty that surrounds us everyday and make the most of our days, even the crazy ones!!
