Weekend recap.

It was cold and rainy weekend at the sothwestern desert. Friday night we went downtown Phoenix to watch the Suns host the San Antonio Spurs. Sarah had been wanting to go watch a basketball game since we moved a year ago and what a better team for her to watch than the Spurs. I guess they brought with them a little bit of “home” for both of us.

Although I was happy to see the Spurs in town, I really did not like the fact that they beat the Sun in the last few seconds of the game. I am of the idea that we must support the local sports (except if the Cardinals play the Broncos) in good and bad times. So, I will admin it that I was cheering for the Suns while Sarah was being faithful to the lone star team. It was a good thing it was a close game, otherwise one of us would’ve had a blast that night rubbing the victory in on the other’s face.

Saturday was a pretend-I-know-how-to-fix-the-computer day. I get phone calls from friends and family and for the most part, I know how to at least guide them in the correct direction when it comes to their computer problems. Unfourtunately, I guess such abilities don’t work when it is your own stuff having issues. As I said before, I had some problems with my connection but I could not manage to figure out what was wrong. On a last moment of desperation, I set everything up like it was supposed to work, went downstairs and reset our connection. When I came back up, suprise!!! Everything has been working just fine since then. It is better being lucky than good :o)

Sunday was catch-up day since I managed to waste most of my time yesterday working on the connection troubles. I have a new project for a non-profit organization in Amarillo. It is going to be a lot of fun but a lot of hard and maybe long hours since they have a very tight deadline for the project. I am waiting on a couple of administrative hurdles by a 3rd party involved but once we are done with that, the project should be quite smooth. I will post more about it when I have something more concrete to show. I guess this means that I will be online a little more these days, so feel free to email me or IM me since most likely I will be near the computer.
