As I have said it before, our social calendar for July is full, and this week continued with Sarah’s sister (Janessa) and a friend of her’s (Lindsey) being in town. It has been a rather quiet week since they have been mostly shopping and hanging out at the pool while we are at work.

However, we went to watch the D’backs last night play against the leading SF Giants. It was not as much fun as the last game we attended (Monday with Suzana and Shane to watch Colorado), mostly because the D’backs could not rally this time after being down from the very first inning. I have to admin that I never really liked baseball but watching it live (with a couple of beers) is starting to grow on me.

We usually buy the $10 tickets and it is a blast since most people up there (we are in the top level of the ballpark) are there to have fun when the game takes a turn into the boring side. I have some pictures that I will post on the photo gallery so you can get an idea of the Bank One ballpark.

Janessa and Lindsey are going back to Amarillo tomorrow morning. Next week we are off from hosting duties and we’ll be getting ready to host Clinton and Brooke (Sarah’s friend) for a weekend of fun and music (we are watching Couting Crows and John Meyer on Monday) and of course golf!!!!
