Back from Dallas.

These past few days we were in Dallas, catching up with Sarah’s sister and her family for a quick little family reunion. It was a blast, we went to Six Flags over Texas (SF) and Hurricane Harbor (HH), and to the amazement of all almost got over my fear of roller coasters.

We met up with Lyn and Tood and their kids: Morgan (“almost 8″), Hannah (“six and a half”) and Jackson (2) for their annual trip to Dallas. We met up with them on Sunday and pretty much just had dinner and hung out by the pool that evening. We had to charge our batteries for the next day adventure at SF.

I really don’t want to make this too long since the pictures (which I will post soon) will say more than any words I can write here about out time there, but I do want to thank the Manley family for letting us be part of their vacation.

Earlier, I said that I almost got over my fear of roller coasters and in reality this is not true. However, when you are in a park with Morgan and Hannah and they are not scared of the Texas Giant or Judge Roy then it puts a new spin on the whole thing. I got over my fear and
managed to ride the Mine Train (these photos don’t do it justice!!!!).

In any case, it was a great time away from Arizona and what a better time to share some time with Sarah’s family than at the roller coaster park — now they know the real me!!!!
