You just knew that I was going to have some photos from my trip to Oregon and I certainly do. Most of them from Marcelino since it was pretty cloudy and rainy to take nature pictures. My camera does not do too well under low light situations so I have to go through and pick some of the better ones before I put them online.

After a great week in Grants Pass, Oregon I am back home in “cold” Scottsdale, Arizona. I loved being these past few days with the family and although Sarah was not there (to make the trip complete) it was good to see them all again at once.

I am about to leave the office and head for the airport. I am flying to Oregon to meet up with the family at my sister’s home where we are celebrating Christmas this year. First time we are not at my parents home in a long time so there is very little hope for a “White Christmas” but I am sure we’ll have a blast. Talk to you soon and I am sure I will have lots of photos to post during this break.

Today was a great day, very representative of the spirits that come with the holiday season. I arrived at the office to find a letter from the dean of the college where I work. The letter informed me that I had earned a “merit” raise that will take palce January 1st. Never mind the fact that others in the department also received a raise but what a day to start the day…

That is what I am calling them and tonight I became one of “them”. I decided to stop by the mall to do some last minute shopping after I left the office. The specific mall I went to is all in the open and you can almost say that it resemble a small village with all shops sorrounding a central plaza (they have concerts here during the summer) and the parking are makes the outter ring of this mall…
